Thomas to be game-time decision vs. Vegas; Sanford will return

That was the injury update from Blues coach Craig Berube while speaking to reporters ahead of Monday night’s matchup with the Golden Knights in Las Vegas.
Sanford, who missed Saturday’s win over the Sharks in San Jose as part of the league’s COVID-19 protocol, got the green light to play Monday. Turns out he had a false positive test.
Bozak, who returned from a 21-game absence last week, only to play two games and then miss Saturday’s contest with a different upper-body injury, will miss the game Monday, too.
And Thomas, who has been out since Feb. 6 with a broken thumb, will be a game-time decision, Berube said.
The Blues carry a two-game win streak, both over the Sharks, into the matchup with the West-leading Golden Knights. Coverage starts at 8:30 on FOX Sports Midwest.
